Three Point Lock Explained

What is pictured is a three point lock. One picture the lock is out of the door, and the other, installed in the door.
They run from from the top to the bottom of the door. They are most standard on Pella,
Andersen, and Marvin doors. Although many other manufacturers use them also.

Installed New Lock for Custom French Doors

We were installing hardware on a whole house in Montclair. They had an unusual set of French doors, very tall but no room for locks in the normal spot. We took the door down, and installed the lock in the bottom of the door. The lock bolt locks into the sill plate. We used a Schlage B560 in 613 dark bronze finish.
